Overview

Ally Durrington is not having a good year. She has broken up with her girlfriend, she hates her job and she feels like life is passing her by without fulfilling her dreams.

After her break-up, Ally decides to actively change her life. Ally gives in her resignation, moves back to her home town and starts over. The trouble is, beginning again at thirty years old is harder than she ever imagined.

Ally is all set to give up when she meets and falls heavily for a woman called Alex. Alex is a successful woman with her own business and despite some reservations, agrees to take Ally on. Ally sets up an art gallery in one of the buildings surrounding Alex’s café and immediately sets about making a go of her new business.

Alex is older and already attached to another woman so Ally worries her feelings are one sided. When a Christmas kiss changes everything between them, Ally must decide whether to pursue a relationship with someone who is already taken or ignore her feelings and move on. As Alex’s circumstances change, Ally finds herself once again thrown into her arms. Will Ally and Alex find their happy ending?
