Overview

There are as many possible futures as there are stars—futures lived on different worlds. Futures lived in altered forms.

A once war-torn planet now finds peace, but a new battle looms. Then humanity discovers they are not alone in the universe, and first contact happens soon after the sightings. The name of their planet is Tah’Nar—and it’s dying.

The Tah’Narians need DNA for their harvesting program, so the US implements a lottery system to meet their demands. Every year for five years, a lottery is held, and the unfortunate men chosen are collected.

The media coined the expression “The Harvest” for this event.
