Bayram has seen it all. As the god of revelry, he’s the center of the party. People rely on him to have a good time, but the shine fades, leaving Bayram yearning for excitement. He needs more in his life. Aches for something deeper than the temporary joy he fears he’s allowed his realm to become.

Tumbling toward a crisis of existence, Bayram finds his comfort in the voice of a storyteller, and the god who believed he had too much love to give to be chained by mating cannot bear to look away.

Enitan spends his life chasing stories. His realm is the crux upon which all the rest of the gods build their legends, but he’d rather spend his time on the periphery. There, it is quiet enough to share stories. He never expected his storytelling would attract the attention of the most well-liked god.

They’re opposites. Anyone with sense knows they don’t belong together, so it must be a cruel joke by the goddess of love. Enitan struggles to free Bayram from the goddess’s sway, finding it harder and harder to resist.
