Captain Natasha Davenport is a national treasure. Against all odds she safely lands a passenger aircraft carrying 260 passengers, narrowly missing a busy road. Suddenly she is of interest to the media, her past laid bare to the world. Privately she exists on short term relationships, a product of her past experiences.

Dr Julia Foster is in charge of the Accident and Emergency department of her local hospital. She can’t let go, holding on to the last vestiges of her relationship with her ex-fiancée, despite Rebecca’s attempts to keep her distance. Rebecca loves her and is determined to let her go, paralysed from a riding accident years before, she’s clear that Julia won’t share the future she faces.
