Overview

Feeling exhausted from dealing with passengers on her ride-hailing app one Friday night, Keira Gabari takes a break to unwind at a bar belonging to a friend. Within minutes, her heart skips a beat as she lays eyes on the woman she was once irrationally in love with twenty years ago. Overcome with frustration for not approaching her, Keira switches on her app once again and accepts the first ride request without bothering to check the screen. Alicia York, the woman she had just fled from, is now in the car with her, urging her to leave at once as she fears someone is pursuing her.

The following morning, Keira goes with Alicia to help her retrieve her car, but just as they are about to do so, Keira’s dream-like experience turns into a horrifying nightmare. At gunpoint, a gang of criminals forces them to hand over everything they own. And to make matters worse, they not only take Keira’s car but also her beloved dog, Kayla, who is still in the vehicle.

Keira’s determination to save Kayla remains unshaken, even in the face of many obstacles. She finds comfort and strength in Alicia’s constant support, and their bond deepens as they overcome each hurdle together.
