When Katherine Taylor, a freelance journalist and would be novelist, catches her fiancée with someone else, she immediately calls off the wedding. Desperate to visit Greece once and for all, she decides to go on the honeymoon alone. Visiting Greece has been her dream for some time and this time she isn’t letting anything get in her way. Having been in relationships constantly since High School she is determined to take a break, to have time to find herself.

Adrienne Demetriou works as a manager at her family’s hotel in Crete. She dreams of opening her own hotel, however sees no way to make it a reality. Sure of her sexuality but out to only a few, it's been some time since she’s had a relationship. She’s comfortable alone.

When Katherine arrives to stay at the Hotel Orion, she finds herself drawn to the beautiful hotel manager. Putting an awkward encounter behind them they become friends. As Katherine’s stay lengthens their attraction grows. Can they overcome their barriers to be together?
