After a fulfilling career as an Army doctor, Greyson Walsden is back in her hometown, working as a GP and preparing to obey her other vocation. Overworked and rather reserved, she doesn’t have time for socialising, let alone for falling in love again. Angela Arlingham doesn’t believe in God – after all, he played a cruel trick on her by robbing her of her daughter. When she meets Greyson Walsden, she’s impressed by the handsome doctor, but totally underwhelmed by her new life choices. Anyway, it’s not like they have any reason to see each other again.
