Overview

The magic of the Old West comes alive in this timeless tale of love between women. Little does Kenny dream that her life is about to take a detour. After Kenny is shot during a holdup, then framed, she is desperate to escape the pursing posse. It is Sophie McLaren, a young, cool-headed widow living in a line shack, who nurses Kenny back to health and hides her from the law. When danger lights the fires of passion between these two women, their fates become entwined. And as they dare to dream of a different life, they learn that love overcomes all obstacles.

Around ten o'clock, the stage rattled down the main srteet of Jackson, Colorado. The creaking of the harnesses and the jangling of the braces were quiet compared to the competing souonds of the out-of-tune pianos and the laughter of whores from the town's two saloons. A thin slice of moon faintly lit the two dust-covered figures that slumped in the bench seat built on top of the coach. Passing the saloons and the darkended general store, the stage rolled to a stop next to the livery stables. The driver leaped down, then staggered on shaking, tired legs. The old man riging shotgun chuckled.
