Ruby Fairfax has given up the hope that she would ever make a living from her art. She pays the bills by taking on a cleaning job, but feels thoroughly out of place among her colleagues. When one night during her shift she meets famous pop singer Anita Bloom, Ruby is suddenly presented with the opportunity of her life time.
