Overview

The sea is in thirty three year old Marina Fischer's blood. Like her father, she is a marine biologist, with an enormous passion for her job. She is also a devoted mother who is well aware that the nomadic life style that involves relocating every time a part of the ocean seems interesting, isn't ideal for her child. So she has decided to quit. After one last job. A job that takes her and her daughter, Pearl, to a remote island in the middle of the Caribbean Sea. Mermaid Island, full of lore and with an old story of a mermaid roaming the waters nearby. But Marina knows better. She does not believe in Mermaids. Because mermaids doesn't exists.
