Amelie had basically forced her into it, and her new duties stopped her from traveling as she did before, defending her family’s interests. It was becoming harder to refuse Amelie’s advances though, despite it all, the princess was very seductive and intent in getting into Julie’s bed, and Miriam’s missing presence only made Julie more vulnerable.

And now they were on a voyage, almost alone but for some of Amelie’s guards, and Julie was just about to give up and stop resisting. Thankfully, a considerate assassin decided that was the right time to intervene.
