Overview

After a trying fall term and first few months of their interspecies relationship, Lathan and Kylo have finally settled after Yule. Things are looking up until a catastrophe occurs on campus, affecting many more than just the two of them—permanently—and forces everyone back to their homes while Obscura deals with the aftermath.

With nowhere to go, Lathan is brought to Kylo’s childhood home in Ether territory, where he starts to feel like he has a proper family. But it isn’t long before his introduction to the rest of the Garcia pack threatens that feeling, who are less than welcoming of a vampire being mated to one of their own. And as he deals with the judgement around him, Kylo struggles to find an outlet to help him grasp the heinous reality of his own involvement in the attack at school.

The Obscura Saga is a series of interconnected romances set in the same urban fantasy world. It is recommended to read in the order of publication, but not necessary unless books are part of their own series; Blood Loss is the second in its own trilogy, as well as the second book in the overall saga.
