I may have magical power, but this case is going to take more than magic. It’s going to take a miracle. It started as a straightforward babysitting mission for me and Flinty Jack: take care of an Ancient Egyptian mummy come to life, while the legal teams sort the intricacies of his immigration status. Problem #1: there’s five thousand years of communication barrier between us. Problem #2: he thinks he’s a god. Like, a literal god. Problem #3: someone’s trying to kill him – and anyone standing in their way. Problem #4: did I mention that he actually thinks he’s a god on Earth? It’s our job to keep him safe, and we're going to do it. As long as I can keep myself from strangling him, anyway.
