First love -and its unfortunate sequel: the first heartbreak- is rarely forgotten, and Talanah knows its taste all too well. After a bumpy end of the school year, summer comes with hopes of rest and peace…or would be, if the news of her non-voluntary attendace to a summer camp had not hit her right after coming home. Luck seems to evade her way too much for her like. But with the Rookery Summer camp come new possibilities to explore and people to meet; friendships to forge, and maybe more than that. Talanah will find herself navigating between the messy social tides, and even opening her heart to the unknown. But, is there place for new love, when the first heartbreak still haunts her?
