Taysia "Tiny" Jackson arrives at Rose Hill Women's Correctional, after taking the fall for her boyfriend, Omar. One day, Cassandra "Cash" Mitchell, a handsome butch shot caller, moves into Tiny's cell, after transferring from a maximum security institution. Their relationship gets off to a rocky start. However, the cellmates become friends, and a romance blossoms.

Cash is jealous of the support Omar provides Tiny, and gives her an ultimatum. In a rash decision which will haunt her, Tiny breaks up with Cash. The situation in the cell becomes unbearable, and Tiny must speak to Officer Vonda "Red" Redwall, a handsome butch officer, about a cell move.

After Red gets Tiny a single cell, the prisoner and the officer strike up a romance. However, things aren't what they seem, and the inexperienced inmate is playing a dangerous game with Officer Redwall. After their vicious break up, will Cash still care enough to save Tiny?
