“Dante doesn’t know what’s in store for him. He thinks falling in love with a man is easy, and having that happy ever after ending will come without a cost, but he has to work for it especially if he’s in line to get my job, the east coast boss of the richest crime family in New Jersey. Until now we have always been in the shadows, but no longer. I guess I’ve messed that up with my love for young men and my cruelty. You can’t get this powerful and rich by being soft. I’m ready to give it up though and settle down and enjoy my man, and have my HEA life, but power is a strange drug. Once you get it into your system everything else is secondary, especially love.
