BIRTHDAY can be read as a stand-alone, although if you go on to read Soulmates, you'll know a couple of key details that Trajan, David, and readers who started with SOULMATES didn't have. A month or so after the events in Soulmates, David Collins is trying to make sense of his life. He forgot his own birthday, ffs! When Connor asks for his help in the search for a missing child, David is forced to deal with what he's lost. He'll need his wolf to find her, that is if the bonds between the men are strong enough to allow him to shift.
