Outwardly, Salazar is like most captains traveling the stars, simply trying to make some money in the tedious long-haul freight business. But her secret life soon puts both herself and her unsuspecting crew in danger, pulling her into a maelstrom of complications when the murky world of criminal overlords, drug smuggling, and the interference of the Confederacy's Navy clash head-on with her duty.
