Welcome back to Evermore, Alabama!!! Shelly Stephens agrees to drive her boss’ classic car from Atlanta to Birmingham in the hopes the road trip will jolt her out of the misery left behind by an unexpected and painful breakup. When the car decides to break down things take a definite turn and so does Shelly. She takes an exit that lands her right smack in the middle of Evermore, Alabama, where she learns the car is not only stolen but outfitted with a ‘mostly’ defective bomb. While being first rescued and then put into handcuffs by a hot butch in a cop uniform might be the stuff of Shelly’s fantasies she’s none too happy to have it happen in real life. She’s even unhappier when she’s dumped, not in a county jail, but in a local motel until the whole thing can get sorted out. In between sparring with hot cop Presley, trying to avoid pot-brownie baking Granny ,who wants to try to ‘cure’ her of her ails, a run-in with a machete-wielding wedding planner who thinks Shelly is a runaway bride, and nearly being killed by a giant peach that resembles a huge human butt Shelly is busy trying to prove her innocence so she can put the blue-hazed hills of Evermore, Alabama—and Presley—in her rearview.
