Weston has known that he wanted a Dette for a mate for a while. Not just any Dette would do, so when Rolf comes into the picture, he knows he’s met the one. The only problem? Dettes require an enormous fortune and an impressive nest in order to be courted. Weston has worked for a long time to gather the funds and build the perfect nest, but time is running short as Rolf’s clan is demanding he choose a mate.

Rolf has turned his nose up at every slimy Drake they’ve sent to sniff about. If he wasn’t good enough for them when Dettes were property to be bought and sold, then they’re not worth his time, now. As time goes on, Rolf’s father becomes more insistent he find a mate and happiness. Backed by his father’s clan, he doesn’t know how long he’ll still be allowed to say no. When a beautiful coyote with an enchanting scent watches him with golden eyes, Rolf’s dragon knows the only Drake he’ll ever accept is small, warm, and fuzzy.
