In a whisper full of tenderness and love, he promised me a dream, only to sentence me to a nightmare—a never-ending nightmare that only sometimes resembled life.

Four long years had passed since that promise, and Camilo was still nowhere to be found. That was, until he came back out of nowhere, intruding on the lie I called a life. Only he wasn’t the same man he once was, not in the slightest.
