Overview

Emmi (she/her) is gunning for a promotion in her Boston organization. Her CEO, concerned with Emmi's work-life balance prescribes her a vacation. Spiraling without work, Emmi heads to visit her mother in her hometown of Northampton. Her hippy mom is up to her unusual shenanigans. Emmi contacts Dean who she met recently at a work event, and who happens to live in Northampton.

Dean (they/them) is an adoption worker whose love of basketball and hatred of one team, lands them in a high-stakes bet. Dean and Emmi go on a date and the attraction is undeniable. Emmi is thoroughly distracted from work, but Dean's bet has them stuck on pause.
