Come spend time in Spectrum Skies, a hidden world on Earth where mortals and immortals have learned to live together in peace...or something like it... Captain London Weaver, the head of the Human/Specs Enforcer Union, hates the dark season. It’s the time when the skies over Spectrum turn dark and stay that way for months. It’s when all the crazies slither out of their secretive hiding spots, and the mortal population of Spectrum finds itself at a definite disadvantage. To make matters worse, when a powerful succubus suddenly emerges in Spectrum and threatens the safety of both humans and immortals, London is ordered to join forces with his immortal counterpart, Captain Pascal St-Maurice, a vampire who, as far as London is concerned, is a fancy pants with no respect. And to Pascal, London is an anal, uptight, prejudiced jerk who has no idea how to dress with class. Now, working together to confront the new enemy that doesn’t discriminate, the two law enforcers decide to make the best of the bad situation. But that doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy, especially when their mutual animosity eventually gives way to unexpected and unquenchable attraction.
