This short story was originally published in the Summer Loving anthology 2020, now extended and re-edited Phoebe Baxter has arrived on the sun-kissed island of Lanzarote to enjoy two glorious weeks of vacation at the luxurious Royal Lanza Hotel. She’s looking forward to soaking in the infinity pool and forgetting all about the past year, specifically the part where she fell head over heels in love with her boss and left the company without giving notice. Unfortunately for Phoebe, she’s not the only one embarking on a summer holiday to the island.
