Ana is a poor but passionate girl. She works, in a small town, on her mother’s shop, and she's madly in love with her friend, Inês. Ana has always struggled to find where she would fit as she always felt different from the other kids in the town, never realizing her true worth or what it would mean to be loved by someone - until she met beautiful and beloved Inês. All the planning and working together might be impossible for some, but Ana and Inês can’t seem to have it any other way. When a terrible accident happens to their fathers, tears and hurt break their world apart, and together they decide to avenge their parents with the help of two friends. Thus, together they establish a revenge plan for the Portuguese state, hoping to find what they are looking for. In a story where crime, conquest, patriotism, and the discovery of a sudden love, breaking roots in a strongly traditional country, can these two female characters find their way to a fresh start?
