The room was like any other in thousands of hotels around the world, Alex supposed. Small bathroom crammed in by the entry; big window on the far side featuring a majestic view of the parking garage and dumpsters. An enormous TV on the wall, a small table, a few chairs.
And, oh yeah — just the one big double bed sitting pride of place in the middle of the room that they were for some reason — what? Expected to share?
