Summer of 1951 and Lou Ellen has just returned to her dusty hometown of Spring Lick, Unincorporated. When she left, she never thought she’d see these backwoods again.

She’s working hard to do right by her loved ones, which leaves her wound up and barely hanging on. Good thing her old girlfriend Syd is around to help her blow off steam. And Syd’s woman Earlene, well, she comes with fresh biscuits and an agenda. Hard not to admire a woman like Earlene.

Turns out, that old rattletrap truck still has a good tailgate, and there are plenty of secluded magnolias to park under. No telling how much trouble she can get into if she tries….
