Amber Moore is a successful photographer, who has traveled across the world. She lives with her wife in a beautiful home in Maine, along with their French Bulldog, Lexi. She thought they had a happy life. But after coming home unexpectedly one day she learns that her marriage of 10 years is over. She decides to take a much-needed break and get away from everyone and everything.

Amber packs up her dog and rents a house for the off-season in the quiet coastal town of Wellfleet, Massachusetts in picturesque Cape Cod. She thinks she will be able to relax and unwind and maybe even have some fun. But she is thrown into the mystery of a house only she can see. Along with Riley Carver, a beautiful veterinarian she just met, she is determined to find answers. Why is she the only one that can see it? What does it have to do with her ancestors? And what happened to the last occupant of the house?
