Vox Swift is a young elf lesbian who works part time as a private detective in the bustling city of Thornbury. The world that Vox inhabits is part film noir and part Dungeons and Dragons. When she's not solving crimes or pulling shifts for an all-elf messenger service, Vox is learning to be a bard. Magic comes easily to our young hero, but she could use a good dose of wisdom sometimes.

Opening lines:
