Born from the dead womb of a shipwrecked woman, Aesir has been a cursed man all his life. He has been raised by the Chief of the village for one purpose alone, and the fires along the coast and the smell of ash and blood on the wind herald that his purpose has now arrived.

Some say that the Vikings are monsters sired by the Old Gods, so it makes sense that they might be bribed to spare a village from the flames with a monstrous gift, such as a young man with strange blue eyes and fair hair, blood tainted by the sea. Stripped bare and trussed in ropes, Aesir has no choice but to await the arrival of these terrifying invaders and his sacrificial death at their hands.

But these Norsemen are like nothing he could have imagined, and their taste in cruelty is of a very different kind than he’d been led to believe. Initiated in the ways of both pleasure and pain by three Norse warriors, Aesir discovers the joy and freedom of serving a man strong enough to truly dominate him...and plots his revenge on those who left him to die.
