'Banana dress, he wears as he walks in the prevailing wind of the beach...' The poems of Tempest Miller's debut chapbook are at once bitter, queer and darkly political. His writing fluctuates between an extreme depth of aestheticism and enraged abstraction, forming a bevy of aggressive and amoral work. Throughout, there is pride in contradiction, death, scorn for the world and all things.
