Taylor Lockwood recently discovered she had bipolar depression. Ever since then, things hadn't been the same. However, the one person who stood by her side through it all was her closest friend in the Anna Shumate. Anna's older brother, Tyler Lockwood, lived with their father after their mother passed away from cancer when Anna was just 12 years old. Taylor and Anna had been best friends since kindergarten. Taylor came out as pansexual in 10th grade. Anna, the captain of the soccer team, was also best friends with the wildest party-goer around. Despite developing feelings for Taylor, they had both agreed to remain friends with benefits.
