For the last sixteen years, everything Alex Hawk has done has been to find and kill the demon who massacred his family. He joined the Paladin Guild and made himself into a lethal demon hunter. But when signs of the demon finally appear, his commander orders him to stand down and gives the case to another. Driven by the need for revenge, Alex takes matters into his own hands, no matter the cost.

Talon is very old and very bored, but when a pretty paladin marches into a demon-owned club and starts asking questions, his interest in piqued. He wants to devour Alex, wants to lay claim and make him his own. Trouble is, demons don’t claim humans.
