Overview

Alex and Sophie were firefighters at a station with a reputation for being the best. But their love threatened that repution by creating dissent among the other firefighters.

Sophie Carter was a new recruit at Station 17. She was eager to join such a renowned group of firefighters and desperate to impress her new commander, Alex Monroe. She had heard from her friends during training that Commander Monroe had no time for fools or incompetence and ruled her unit with an uncomprising iron fist.

Alex Monroe had no time for romance and dedicated to maintaining her team's reputation as the best firefightiers in the area. But when Sophie asked for personal training sessions, Alex did not hesitate in agreeing to take the new recruit under her wing.

As Alex and Sophie's friendship grew, the other members of the team began to grow resentful of their closeness.
