Can Toni and Corinne survive with their lives and marriage intact when the past catches up to them?

When Toni’s wife, Corinne, receives a mysterious letter that sends her flying out of their apartment without explanation, their once perfect and happy marriage and life become embroiled in doubts and fears.

What was in that letter? Who was it from? Is Corinne in danger?

Before Toni can learn the answers to those questions, she learns something about her own past that shatters everything she thought she knew about herself and her family. Her father and uncle didn’t just teach her and her brother, Nico, how to protect themselves against schoolyard bullies and street thugs. With distant ties to the Italian mafia in New York, they were always under a certain undefinable level of danger, even in Denver, Colorado.

While mending their marriage, and preparing their minds and bodies for their new reality, the past catches up to them. Caught in the middle of a war between mafia factions, the promise of for better or worse that Toni and Corinne made to each other on their wedding day over five years ago, is put to the ultimate test.

Can they survive the mafia assassins hunting them? And if they do, will their marriage survive?
