When Ashlee arrived in Florida to house sit for her aunt for two months, she was ready to enjoy her new beach house. After years of hard work and traveling as a wedding photographer, Ashlee was ready for a break. What she wasn't ready for was her new neighbor, Carla. Carla listened to her therapist's advice and took two weeks off from work. When she'd made partner at her firm, she’d started working even longer hours than she already had been. She was dangerously close to burning out, and she was doing her best to get ahead of it. Ashlee was never one for relationships, knowing she worked too hard and traveled too often to make a reliable girlfriend. Carla saw enough heartbreak in her office as a divorce lawyer to wonder what was the point of it all. As neighbors, they hit it off, but when the attraction between the two of them becomes obvious, they start to question what the future could possibly hold for them. They were so different. They lived more than a thousand miles apart. Not to mention the age difference. Did they even have a chance?
