Book 4 of Taste the Rainbow starts where book 3 left off, in a moment of shock and heartbreak, when Ty is taken to the hospital for emergency care from an overdose. Shy and Peachez have assumptions as to why their best friend made a drastic decision to try and take her life, but are their assumptions right?

Bonni becomes a nervous wreck when she finds out her wife’s life is on the line. Alivia comes to her aid and helps out with the shop while Bonni sits by Ty’s side.

Mer finally says goodbye to Soraya’s spirit as she has all of her belongings packed and leaves the condo in LA for good. When Mer finally arrives back home, she starts having uncomfortable encounters with Sage, her daughter’s nanny.

Shy and Mario’s love for one another takes a turn when they go off on a mini-vacation to New Jersey. Shy can’t think past her best friend fighting for her life, causing their trip to come to a sudden end. Mario’s point of view of their ‘love’ changes as she forces herself to move on with someone else.

Ari and Ginger are still at a crossroads of love and war. The things La’Teesh revealed to Ari in the past, now comes to the light.

Peachez and Lucky’s union continues to grow. Things seem promising between the two, but Peachez can’t seem to shake Gabe completely out of her system.

In this portion of the series, things are shifted within a natural mystic when La’Teesh not only proves to the crew that she’s gifted but intercedes for them along the way. Bonds are in an attempt to be broken, old relations are in the midst of being rekindled, and new relationships are on the horizon. As the crew tries their best to be by Ty’s side in her time of need, dealing with the drama of their everyday lives continues in full throttle.
