Originally a short story in the Christmas at the Clubhouse Anthology, this short read is integral to Bishop’s Play and the Restless Souls MC series. Eggnog. Check. Presents. Check. Deceit, destruction, despair and hollow truths. Check. I thought that all of our problems were behind us. I believed we were in a state of repair. We had gone legit. That with King gone we could settle into a relaxing holiday. As always I couldn’t have nice things. All I wanted was Oubliette under me and safely in my arms. We don’t always get what we wish for….
