Overview

Begoña returns to her parents' house for Christmas, as she has done every year since she moved out on her own.

What she doesn't expect this time is that they will be one more in the family. Her brother Yago has arrived with Nereida, a girl he introduces as his girlfriend, who wins over the family as soon as she flashes a smile.

The first thing Begoña feels towards Nereida is pity, because she knows her brother well and knows how much he likes skirts and how repulsed he is by commitment. It doesn't take long for her to confirm that he hasn't changed and that he's more interested in chatting with his hookups on his phone than paying attention to Nereida.

That task will largely fall on Begoña.

The two women will begin to spend more time together than they should, and sparks will fly without either of them being able to control it. Within days, Begoña's heart will break into thousands of pieces when she finally becomes aware that she has fallen in love with the one person she can't have: Nereida.

Devastated and feeling like the most despicable being in the world, she concludes that there is only one possible solution: to leave and break with family tradition for the first time. What she never considers is asking Nereida how she feels, but what if she did?
