Harley Hewitt is living the dream. She’s about to wed her fiancée, Tracey, when her best friend suddenly bails as her maid of honour. Her night job as a nurse and her lack of contact with anyone in her hometown make her realize that she has no friends of her own, so she goes to a speed dating event in hopes of catching a maid of honour, rather than a future bride-to-be. Denise North thought she had everything. Her own home, a good job with great friends, and zero debt. At her best friend’s wedding, she soon realizes that her aspirations of being someone’s one and only have been put on the backburner. She throws herself back into the dating pool, expecting to find the perfect man of her dreams but accidentally shows up at a lesbian speed dating night instead. When Denise and Harley cross paths, it seems like the stars have aligned. Denise needs to get out of her shell, and Harley needs “someone borrowed” for her big day. They both have similar interests and senses of humour. What could go wrong?
