Overview

The Templar Xia Leafsong seeks and destroys the Azhi, shapeshifters born of sin. She does this not only for a living, but to protect her friends and family. Especially her sister, the Priestess Fay. With no belief in the gods she serves, she's considered bloodthirsty by most of her comrades, but a hero by the people. On an everyday Seeking, she is forced to make a soul-to-soul pact with one of these monsters to live...and suddenly she's thrust into a war among gods and demons, with her and all she holds dear at the center. The Azhi she is bound to, Sanquility, becomes her rock as the two grow closer in a world that's turning upside down. Will they prevail, or will the Azhi God devour the world?
