Overview

This is the memoir of two women who traded adversity for love. I'd grown up on a dirt farm and made it to celebrity status as a model. Although my career was on the upswing, my personal life was a disaster. Then we met and my entire life changed to one of meaning and love.

I was uneducated and superficial, having only my looks and career as a measure of my achievement. She was brilliant, gorgeous, accomplished, and nearly twice my age. I had to fight to convince her to be my lover. When it happened, we both found happiness, bliss, and companionship, shedding our victim skin. This is our story.
