Martin Robertson and Andrew, “the Animal,” Anderson had been friends since childhood until Martin accidentally caught the bouquet at a mutual friend’s wedding. A fateful slow dance together suddenly made them think there could be more. Unfortunately, Martin has been hurt badly in the past and it is a sharp barrier to intimacy for the pair. As they make gradual progress toward healing, the perpetrator of Martin’s painful past reappears on Garfield Island.
