New in town, Ryan Adler is looking for someone to spend his time with. He turns to the local library’s matchmaking service, which promises a soulmate to every human and monster seeking love.

Ciel is a fallen angel still acclimating to life on Earth. He’s lonely, and after a whirlwind romance with a literal demon, his heart desires someone a little tamer – someone more likely to bend to his will.

When the two are paired up, Ciel is thrilled. Ryan is hot, interesting, and exactly what he had in mind. Ryan, on the other hand, has one small problem with the he’s not gay, and he has no interest in experimenting.

Both men immediately clash, but when a life-threatening accident brings them closer together, Ryan has to admit that he’s more attracted to Ciel than he once thought. But before they can open their lives up to one another, Ryan has to come to terms with the person he once thought he was, and Ciel must learn to have faith again, this time in humanity itself.
