Overview

As the spring semester draws to a close at idyllic Haverwood College, a beloved professor is found murdered in her classroom. Detectives begin building a case against her ex-girlfriend. Dean of students Ryan McCabe sets out to prove them wrong.

Ryan teams up with the intriguing prime suspect to find anyone else with a motive against the professor. They soon find themselves growing closer, and Ryan starts feeling things she hasn't felt in years.

As if investigating a murder and managing her day job aren't enough, Ryan starts butting heads with the disagreeable (but gorgeous) lead detective, who makes Ryan reconsider everything she's learned. But when her best friend is targeted and the detective goes missing, Ryan realizes it’s up to her to track down the killer before someone else turns up dead.
