Two days before Christmas, the last thing Vic Martin wants is a canceled flight. With her carefully planned ski trip falling apart, she finds herself stranded in the Kansas City airport. A self-proclaimed Grinch, Vic has no interest in the holiday cheer that’s everywhere, or at least until she meets bubbly and festive Leia Patterson.

Leia loves everything about Christmas, and when she crosses paths with Vic at the airport, she sees their unplanned layover as an opportunity to enjoy the season. Despite their age gap and opposite views on the holiday spirit, Leia persuades Vic to spend the extra day exploring the city’s Christmas attractions.

As twinkling lights and spiked hot chocolate pull them closer together, Vic begins to question her grumpy holiday outlook and the walls she’s built around her heart. Could a canceled flight be the start of something neither of them expected?
