Sydney Reamer, a glass artist, has developed a flourishing new relationship with younger physician Samantha Vays, who is late awakening to her sexuality. But Samantha struggles with the negativity and homophobia from the outside world, making commitment difficult. This is not her only dilemma. Formally engaged to successful dentist Stephen -whom her parents adore- Samantha has to decide when and how to tell them, anticipating their total rejection of Sydney as her partner.
