Overview

River takes care of the giant cats that protect members of the royal family but he is not part of their guard. Only guards have firecats, and River doesn’t believe he is special enough to have a firecat of his own, or to belong anywhere near the royal family. But if he wants to protect someone he loves, he is going to have to accept that he is worthy of the great cats’ attention.
