Jess is an up and coming romance author who's just starting to experience stardom. And fandom. Marina, a famous Vanity Fair journalist is waiting to interview her for her first (seemingly straight) romance book. Everything goes awry when Marina starts talking about the queer subtext fans read into the book. Jess has a lot to learn about her own characters- and also herself and Marina is enthusiastic - if a bit reluctant at first - to help her on this journey.
