Overview

Alex and Lauren, former Boston residents, find themselves fleeing from an outbreak that causes people to turn into putrid, horrifying creatures. In order to stay alive, they must find food, shelter, and weapons to protect themselves. After nearly a year of crossing the country together in a stolen SUV, Alex feels compelled to tell Lauren how she really feels. Will these best friends finally turn into something more, or will just trying to survive use up all of their energy?
